Call for Participation: Interested in improving your online meeting experience at work?
We’re looking for knowledge workers (including graduate students) who regularly attend online meetings with video for work and are interested in trying out a new tool for improving their meeting experience. The tool gives you feedback on your facial expressions and body language in a glanceable display shown during online meetings by analyzing your video feed in a privacy-preserving manner.
The study will be conducted fully remotely for at most 4 weeks, and will include:
- An initial setup session to install and familiarize yourself with the meeting tool.
- Completing three questionnaires: at the beginning, midpoint, and end of the study.
- Using the meeting tool, which runs in parallel with your regular video meetings, for at most 4 weeks. You are free to skip using the tool for some meetings.
- A post-study interview where we aim to learn about your experience with the tool and the tool’s impact.
We anticipate that the total additional time (i.e., on top of your regular work meetings) in the study will be approximately 4 hours across 3-4 weeks. You will receive a 40 CHF Digitec/Amazon gift card and be entered into a raffle to win 1 of 3 Apple Watches (series 3/4) or a 200 CHF gift card as study compensation.
The tool saves and analyzes all data locally on your machine, and webcam images are deleted as soon as they are processed.
You may be eligible to participate in this research study if you:
